The Native American culture is still very strong across our country and is full of their traditions and heritage. I am very drawn to learning more about their strong cultural backgrounds and who they are today. Many Native Americans are known for their very strong facial features that convey strength and confidence. There is an incredible beauty that I want to capture of these great people and their traditions. Traditions that include dance which is still practiced today and can include very colorful and ornate attire that has a very powerful and beautiful look and feel. The goal of this project is to capture portraits of Native Americans from many different heritages and showcase who they are as a person. Capture them for who they are today. Capture them as an individuals even though their heritage can still be seen in their faces. Being able to capture each person in a unique way that tells their story.
